Notes
We had 0.38 in of rain in our back yard in the last 24 hours. There was two rain events. The Evansville airport had 1.74 in of rain yesterday, which was a record for this date. I was on the east side of Evansville and my son called me. He asked where I was. I told him. He said there is a bad storm coming and I should get home. Well, there is a lot of road work going on for the main roads between the east and western sides of Evansville. I looked outside and saw a very dark cloud approaching. I drove through rain several times and then made it home to Posey County. We had another rain storm later in the evening. Right now, we have 76 degrees F. Then 29.99 inHg and rising. The weather station on the wall says that we will have sun with puffy clouds. The local weather people are saying that we will have rain later in the afternoon.
